Tweed, Plaids, Spectacles, & Hudson Bay stripes ~ A Modern Dandy
As long as Ive known this gentleman he stays killing it. Since the days of New Republic I remember seeing him walking through SoHo always looking dapper. A true modern dandy.

This guy is far from 'killing it'. Way too much going on , almost makes me dizzy just looking at his attire. Sometimes this 'look' can be executed the right way by looking effortless which is not the case here. The pieces themselves- no complaints.
That Hudson Bay jacket is beautiful. The guy pulls off a very confusing pattern/color combo. It doesn't look forced at all. I don't think most folks could pull this off but he does.
It's slightly overdone.....I'm a great pattern mixer but these ensembles need some solids to act as foils for the patterns.....basically it's best to maintain a ratio of pattern to solid of no more than 2/1.....pattern mixing is great fun and done well is the mark of a really sophisticated dresser but you have to be awfully careful to avoid veering off into caricature as this gentleman does particularly in the newsboy outfit.
Is this a custom Hudson's Bay jacket?? SWEET!:!

I have to let you know that the second coat is classic Canadiana. From the Hudson's Bay Company.
